How do I start
DigitalMeeting?

Q What’s the difference between DigitalMeeting and an ordinary Conference Call?
A A DigitalMeeting combines audio and web into one easy to use business tool.

Q What do I need?
A A telephone, a computer with a JAVA enabled web browser and a DigitalMeeting account.

Q Will our IT department have to get involved?
A DigitalMeeting is entirely web based: there is no software to install.

Q What is the set-up charge?
A There is no set-up charge or signing on fee.

Q How quickly can I start?
A On receipt of your service agreement, accounts required and payment method we will send you an activation email.

What does it cost?

Q What is the pricing structure?
A Pay-as-you-use.

Q How much does it cost?
A 18p per minute per participant in Western Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. Other countries are charged at the best available rate at the time of the conference.

Q What do I get for this?
A Audio conference, web conference, use of freephone numbers, instant technical support, a personal account manager and unrivalled customer services from a dedicated specialist.

Q How much does it cost my participants?
A Nothing. Everybody can dial in on a freephone number (where available).

Q Are freephone lines available Worldwide?
A Yes, almost the entire business community has freephone lines in service. There is a global toll number for countries which do not provide freephone numbers.

Q What if I don’t use the service?
A You only pay for what you have used. There is no monthly charge.

What does DigitalMeeting do?

Q What can I do in a DigitalMeeting?
A You can give presentations, show documents, work on applications collaboratively and remote support all in a totally secure environment.

Q Can I use the audio conference without the web conference?
A DigitalMeeting audio conferences can be used as a standalone, web conferences without audio or any combination of the two.

Q Who controls the meeting?
A The chairperson controls the meeting at all times including audio and web access. The chairperson must give permissions to other participants before they can operate the web conference.

Q What applications can be shown and shared?
A Any and all applications, across different types of computers.

Q Do we all need the same applications?
A No, you can remotely view and control applications running on another computer without owning that software yourself.

Q Can documents be altered?
A Yes, easily by all participants.

Q Who controls the finished document?
A Whoever offered it up for remote control. Applications are always saved back to the originating machine.

Q Can a latecomer be brought in?
A Yes, at any time either on the phone only or on both web and phone.

Q Will we all need microphone/headsets?
A No, the audio is delivered by telephone leaving the bandwidth for the web conference. If no phones are available, web conference allows communications via the inbuilt chat function.

What support do I get?

A Training is free for all users on request.

Q How long does it take to learn to use effectively?
A You can be in your first meeting within minutes.

Q What if there is a technical issue?
A In-conference technical help is available 24/7 through both the web and the audio conferences.

Q What is the after-sales service like?
A Second to none. DigitalMeeting provide you with a personal account manager who works with you to get the best possible value for using the service.

Q Can I get help with my first few conferences?
A Yes, we have people who can help you with setting up and running your first few conferences or host them on your behalf if you prefer, leaving you to concentrate on your presentation.
